Nestled in the heart of Kota Marudu, Sabah, Goshen Cafe is a charming local spot where the richness of Malaysian flavors meets an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. This cafe is a haven for those craving authentic and affordable home-style dishes, with a menu that masterfully bridges traditional favorites with comforting street food classics.
The culinary experience at Goshen Cafe is truly a celebration of local tastes. A standout dish is the Wantan Ho: flat rice noodles swimming in a silky egg gravy, generously filled with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and a perfectly balanced soy sauce. Each bite delivers a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, setting a high bar for noodle soups. Equally enticing is the Mee Goreng Ayam (Mee KB), a vibrant plate of spicy stir-fried noodles with succulent chicken and crisp vegetables, infused with a medley of savory sauces that awaken the palate.
If you prefer grilled delights, the Sup KB offers savory grilled chicken imbued with zesty herbs, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a tangy citrus sauce, creating a refreshing contrast of flavors that linger delightfully. For those seeking lighter or quick bites, the cafe’s vermicelli soups and specialty drinks such as Milo Crazy — a rich, spiced concoction — or the indulgent Choco Oreo cake, provide a sweet or comforting finish to any meal.
Goshen Cafe’s ambiance mirrors its menu: warm, welcoming, and perfect for casual hangouts or a quiet respite during your travels. Locals and visitors alike appreciate the friendly staff and clean, humble setting, making it an ideal spot to unwind, connect with friends, or enjoy a solo break. One customer fondly notes how the cafe becomes a favorite for kids after school, highlighting its role as a community hub where hospitality meets genuine care.
Many patrons rave about the value here — generous portions come at prices that are refreshingly budget-friendly without sacrificing quality. While the cafe is a cozy tucked-away gem, a minor note from some guests mentions the presence of mosquitos and ants, a reminder of its natural surroundings, but one that doesn’t overshadow the overall positive experience.
In essence, Goshen Cafe is more than just a place to eat; it’s a comforting embrace of Kota Marudu’s culinary soul. Whether you're drawn by the rich broths, the zesty grilled chicken, or simply a sweet Milo-based treat, this cafe promises a heartfelt and authentic taste of Sabah that will leave you eager to return.

definitely a must try place especially those mee sup kb and kolomee which are their signature dishes where they use mee from kota belud as the main ingredients... other highlight menus are their special dessert such as abc special which has different flavours and the milk tea special which is the hot flavour among all customers... their prices are considering cheap among most cafe selling same menus... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to come and taste their menus... For me, I have NO REGRET eating here... it's my favorite stop for breakfast, and lunch... :)
